When looking to get rid of your used household furniture – especially tables and chairs – please consider a gift to The Cooperative Ministry.
Our furniture bank needs restocking. All of our furniture is given without fee to the working poor and those facing a crisis like flooding, or a house fire, or an unexpected relocation.

Through its Autos for Opportunities program, The Cooperative Ministry accepts used cars in any condition. We even provide free towing service from Midlands locations. Cars are sold and the proceeds help keep the electricity on, pay a month’s rent, and provide clothing for the working poor who suddenly face a crisis in their lives.
Autos for Opportunities also accepts used, reliable cars that with minimal investment can be donated to pre-qualified individuals needing transportation to a job. Currently, there are 23 people on our waiting list for transportation. All of them are employed, and all of them have participated in our financial sustainability classes. Most of them work in healthcare, food service, or retail. More than three-fourths of them are women, and as many as half have children.
You can donate to The Cooperative Ministry by calling (803) 799-3853, ext. 650 or using this online form for donations.
