WHAT WE CAN ACCEPT IN OUR CLOTHING BANK

 

CLOTHING DONATIONS: We accept clothing bank donations. Please bring clothing items in large bags. Please bring household items in a box to ensure items are not broken during handling. Hours are Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. to Noon.

FURNITURE DONATIONS: 

• New and gently used furniture donations must be delivered to The Cooperative Ministry's clothing bank Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. to Noon. Our staff cannot pick up furniture.

• Before your delivery, it's best to call ahead and speak with Clothing and Furniture Bank Director Dave Peoples at (803) 799-3853, ext. 312. We cannot accept damaged furniture or items that surpass our storage capacities.​

• The Cooperative Ministry has an ongoing need for tables, chairs, and new bedding. The bedding must be new.

MISCELLANEOUS:

• Bed sheets, blankets, pillows, curtains, tablecloths.

• Bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, bath rugs.

• Sports equipment, exercise equipment, bicycles.

• Kitchenware - pots and pans, utensils, China, vases, dishes, cutlery, glassware and silverware.

• Small electrical appliances like power tools, irons, blenders, mixers, stereos, CD players, speakers, DVD players, VCRs, lamps, fans, and humidifiers.

• Jewelry, crafts, mugs, candles, pictures, frames, baskets, ornaments, and hand tools.

• Books, magazines, vinyl records, tapes, and CDs.

• Videos, DVDs, Blu-Rays.

• Toys, games and puzzles.

• Musical keyboards.

WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

• Children's car seats.

• Major appliances.

• Computers and printers.

• Pianos.

• Televisions.

• Construction remains.

• Firearms and accessories of any kind.
