CLIENT INTERVIEWER
Assist people who need help in crisis situations. You’ll help direct them to appropriate resources and office financial assistance if necessary. Also, client interviewer will work with volunteers and a staff counselor.
Qualifications: Patience, good listening skills and able to assess client needs
RECEPTIONIST
Assist clients with intake form, scheduling appointments, answer phones, provide general information and referrals.
Qualifications: Patience, good communication skills, and excellent customer service.
TAX PREPARER
Prepare taxes for the working poor using easy software. No experience is necessary and training is provided.
Qualifications: Must know how to use a computer and be willing to learn tax skills Hours of operation: Shifts are available daytime, evening, or weekends. We ask for a minimum commitment of two hours per week during tax season.
CLERICAL
General clerical, filing, typing and data entry
Qualifications: Exceptional organizational and clerical skills
PRAYER PARTNER
Assist clients with prayers, and prayer box
Qualifications: Need someone to pray over our prayer box and pray for our clients.
CLOTHING SORTER
Assist in our clothing bank by sorting clothes and shoes
Qualifications: Must be able to sort clothes and shoes in boxes. Must be able to lift more than 10 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
