The Christian Counseling Center, Inc, a ministry of First Presbyterian Church, Columbia, offers a free clinical counseling assessment for individuals in crisis each Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to Noon at
The Cooperative Ministry. Clients will be directed to the counseling assessment as part of The Cooperative Ministry’s client intake process to serve the Midlands working poor.
The assessments will be provided by a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) and will address issues not limited to but including grief and loss, trauma, anxiety and depression, stress management, and major life changes. Clients will have the option to continue counseling at The Christian Counseling Center’s downtown office.
Beginning Tuesday, Feb. 4, A Coping Skills Support Group is also offered each Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at The Cooperative Ministry. To reserve a space in the group please email email@example.com or call (803) 799-3853, ext. 211.
