DEBT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE A WAY OF LIFE

At The Cooperative Ministry, we believe that finances don’t have to be boring, intimidating, or difficult. We believe that with proper planning and education, relief from financial pressures can be in your near future. It is our goal to help our clients prepare for crisis, reduce debt, and accumulate wealth – no matter how much (or how little) they make.  That is why we have multiple options to help the Midlands stop living paycheck to paycheck, and start creating some financial breathing room:

  • One-on-one financial coaching is a great way to get a personalized look at your specific situation in a non-judgmental atmosphere. One hour sessions are confidential and free of charge.

  • Community outreach provides financial experts to speak at your organization's next event.

  • Financial Literacy workshops provide information on a variety of topics like debt reduction, improving credit, starting your own business, couponing, and owning your own home.  Classes are offered in a fun and inviting atmosphere and are open to the public free of charge.

  • Online Financial Education videos are always available on The Cooperative Ministry's YouTube channel. We have short videos on subjects like money management and savings, tax returns and refunds, and wellness issues. Take a look.
